I actually did use a picture of a model with the cheesegrader nacelle caps but I added some lens flare to match the Discovery poster bit. I guess I went a little overboard. I wonder if ILM can edit that out for me.

Ok, gotta wrap my mind around this. Thought we had a series set pre-TOS. Not really a prequel. Now I see S 2 really is a prequel to Cage. Didn't know it had #1in it. Maybe I can like it for this.

though this angel stuff sound dumb. Reminds me of red matter.

if they 'd stop shoving boring Burnham at us, that'd be fine, though.

It’s not a prequel to The Cage.
The Cage happened 3 years before season 2.

Kinda. Now that I've taken a second look, it's half a pizza cutter, and the nacelles stretch out in front of the half blade.

Shaved + DISCO-blue probably already in the middle of the season. Shaved + nuTOS-blue (with Pike in nuTOS-yellow next to him) probably at the end of the season, when they're leaving, yeah.

I assumed it meant Disco-style TOS, since the outfits are so similar to the Beyond unis. NunuTrek, if you will.

It reminds me of Supergirl's Superman outfit. It's clearly inspired by the Man of Steel costume, but is just a different enough.
