Yes. To any fan of '80s and '90s animation, this is a given.

The bit about eye positions is interesting.

With all the TMS inspiration, it's surprising that none of the studios working on the show are Japanese. There are three in Canada, three in Korea, and one in the Philippines.

I'm genuinely glad to hear this. You previously dismissed it out of hand due to the involvement of a Family Guy alumni as a showrunner.
