Angry Birds 4, aka Pigs in Spaaaaaace!

I heard about this game just this week, downloaded it to my Nook and started playing. It's been a heck of a lot of fun.

Today, I was with a friend who has an iPad, and she downloaded the iPad version, and the first thing we noticed is there are different levels. There are also different birds.

Has this always been the case with Angry Birds? Apple products have one set of levels, computer products have another set of levels, Nook/Amazon have a third set of levels ... some have these birds, some have those birds?

What a confusing mess!

But still tons of fun to play!

I'm not sure about Angry Birds, but I think it's fairly common among games in general. In the case of Angry Birds, it sounds like they make it different enough on difference devices so that people will want to buy it again on another. Sometimes the levels themselves are created to take advantage of particular features such as control mechanisms that aren't available on others.

it's possible that being the ipad it got a version with "bigger" graphics for the bigger screens. mobile games have a tendency to be resolution dependent.
