Angel's Lorne, Andy Hallett has died

This fucking sucks!!! Truly terrible news.

I Loved him on Angel, I had no idea (like so many others in the thread) he had health problems.

Just very very sad. Heart disease at 33?? I heard that he had an infected tooth back in 2004 that caused the heart disease. Not sure if this is true. He played such a great character. He was only 24 when he played Lorne. That character had so many levels from over the top comedic to compassionate to depressed to dark.(many characters in the Angelverse have these qualities, Hallet played them to perfection)

Tooth infections are a big cause of heart disease. I have congenital heart disease and one of the things they tell me is that dental hygiene is very important.

I just saw this; how sad. 33 is way too young. RIP; we had several great seasons and songs with him on Angel, so he will never be forgotten. And we still have the comics, so a little bit of Lorne/Andy will always be with us.

Oh, damnit! I remember a few years ago he'd become very seriously ill and there was a chance he wouldn't make it then. This really blows. I wouldn't have guessed he was that young.

Cool about Alyson and Alexis having their child, though.

They really are nasty things and most people don't even realize it.

A little over a year ago, my had had a root canal. It abscessed and got infected. A few days later he had a stroke. It was just a little one, but we were all surprised when they attributed it to his tooth.

Sad news indeed. I always thought he'd be perfect for a roll in a series of books I read if they ever did movies of them.

So very sad and way too young.
