Re: Andy Probert releases prelim plans for USS Ambassador ki
Well, gang, the latest revision is now up. That forward torpedo housing is just not cooperating with me and is not yet where I want it,... closer to the painting. Very frustrating because I know that if I was physically building it, I would have a much easier time of it.
Anyway, now I have to put this project on hold for a while in order to start a painting I've been asked to produce for the 2009 Ships of the Line calendar. When that's finished, I'll be back on this puppy... probably early February.
Now, while there is a mini- 5-view shot in the posting, a large one you've been asking about will definitely be available when everything on this ship is finished. Meanwhile, I'll be cruising through this neighborhood, every so often, to see if there are any questions I might be able to answer.
And finally, thanks for your input and support on this project.

will not influence the design of this ship.
it actually was, shame that's not gonna be in here, since they go together quite well. I'm sure the idea for seanr's bridge was to have the conference room sunk below infront of the bridge, to emphasise that this is a less advanced so more economically spaced ship than the E-D. I though that was quite clever. But anyways, this is a great design, and hopefully andy probert will be able to get back to it at some point.
