Andrew Lincoln leaving The Walking Dead (Season 9)

It's just not happening in real time, that's all.
It feel like it with most episodes.

But yeah, I've just this morning finished a rewatch of seasons 1-6 ( I fast forwarded through a lot) and yeah not much time actually passes. There's only really a gap between Season 2 & 3, pretty much everything else follows on from where it ends. And doing this you really notice how quickly Carl ages! They should have left a longer gap between Seasons 3 & 4 really, allow the Prison to have really become their home, rather than the dank, dirty mess we only ever saw it as, with basically one room. Always much preferred the Prison stuff in the comics.

I would love a happy ending, one where we learn what really caused the outbreak and a solution or "cure" is found.

I wish I still liked this show. For me, the two major character deaths that really turned me off of the show were Beth, and then Glenn. Really Beth's death was the beginning of the downward spiral in my eyes. No matter how depressing everything else was, they represented hope, normalcy, and goodness. I saw them as the stand-in for the audience. With them gone, I have literally no one to root for.

If only he could wake up with Suzanne Pleshette....

I've been trying to concoct some joke about how you can find his contact info on Lin-Coln but as much as I like a bad pun I can't make it work...

Someday I'll wake up with Suzanne Pleshette and this will all be a dream. :rommie:
