I have seen some rumors that Andor season Two has been pushed to 2025. Has anybody else heard this?
Not from any credible source, no. But
this recent press release confirming Acolyte & SC for 2024 seems to imply it by omission.
Which as with the similar 'Skeleton Crew' delay rumour, gives it the odour of a "rumour" that's just some random person's guess at something that's a relatively safe bet. Obviously just about everything on the live action slate has been delayed, it just a question of how much, and what's been moved around the schedule.
Shooting began November last year, and was scheduled to conclude this August gone, with a year in post before release – but said shoot was cut-short in June because of the strike. No word on when the shoot will resume, but it's a safe bet that it won't be until at least January or February at this point. Which means between finishing what they started plus any pick-ups or reshoots they need, it could run into March or April before they wrap, which makes a May 2025 release the most likely. Now, this isn't a rumour I've heard, it's just simple logic. I wouldn't expect to hear anything official until they've at least wrapped, which is potentially months away.
As for the other two shows; I'm going to take a wild guess and say they'll drop a surprise 'Skeleton Crew' trailer right around Xmas, and it'll release in January, maybe even new years day, with the The Acolyte dropping late Spring/Early Summer, and Bad Batch season 3 in the autumn. Do I have any evidence to back this up? Nope. Which makes it equally as valid as any other "rumour", regardless of the logic or math behind it.
