Spoilers Andor - Season 2

What, exactly, did he disrespect? Be specific.
Luke Skywalker, the character and the man who played him. JJ Abrams, the director that set up the trilogy and introduced a bunch of questions that were cast aside or thrown out. Characters and items that were held to have significance and more story behind them, such as Snoke, Fin, Captain Phasma, Luke's lightsaber, Kylo Ren's mask, Admiral Ackbar (character and actor). The director that had to follow TLJ and try to find a way to finish the trilogy when Rian (everyone should like what I like) Johnson basically ended the trilogy on part 2 with nowhere for the story or characters to go in part 3.

Please tell me exactly what he respected that came before him. Be specific.

It's hard to disagree on Snoke, but the others? I'm not sure what extra significance or story Finn was implied to have from TFA alone. And Captain "we wanted to say Plasma but that was too stupid even for us"? Please.
I don't get why the lightsaber is even in this list. Or the mask. It is admittedly a little odd that Ackbar's death was completely hidden/overshadowed by Leia's space-walk but outside of hardcore Ackbar fanatics I didn't think anyone really cared that much.

Snoke was a preening shrivelled turd who got got, when Kylo Ren was an infinitely more interesting antagonist.

Couple that with the gross incompetence portrayal of the Jedi and the Republic in the prequel trilogy and I regularly saw complaints over how the good guys just don't do a good job.

Now fandom is yelling at the incompetence or weakness of the New Republic in the post-Endor/Jakku era, when the Empire had a multi-decade headstart since before the Clone Wars in building up of the biggest military-industrial complex the galaxy had ever seen, with Imperial warlords ironically flipping the Rebellion's winning strategy against the fledgling NR, but never playing by the rule of law and using slavery

Also we get the impression the Old Republic was irretreavably doomed in its last century due to the sheer size and extreme age of its institutions, too slow to respond to bad actors like the Trade Federation out in the open, and the Jedi Order also running on pure inertia after millennia, stuck with dogmatic, counter productive practices (while the Sith became the ultimate "deep state" behind corporate and political fronts).

Also fanbois got angry over Ewoks helping to give the Empire a well deserved drubbing....

Did people really say that? facepalm
Star Wars Theory.

His take on the attempted rape scene early in Season 2 is one of the most ridiculous takes I've ever heard an alleged huge Star Wars fanboy make on the Internet. The Sith-ruled tyranny that destroyed entire planets and conducted false flag attacks and genocides isn't going to accept or endorse rape and sexual assault.

Did they think their Nazi stand-ins were good guys?

Even when he's trying to sound fair and reasonable he still comes off as the most smug Star Wars fan in a livestream. He's not always wrong, but he's frequently wrong and too much for my tastes.

Well, now that we've mocked people do we all feel better? Or at least superior?
Not yet.

Do you feel superior for making that comment about us? I would be willing to bet that you do.

I love the fact that so many YouTubers called him out for being such an idiot, but my favorite reaction had to simply be this one right here.
