The sister was, frankly, just a signal to us about cassian. She's gone, forever. It's not Kleya, it's not Dedra, it's not Jyn. It's a big galaxy, and Cassian ends up focused on something bigger. If he actually walked out on the Rebellion (and survived Luthen) then maybe he would had gone back looking for her, but she's gone now. it was never supposed to be a big important thing for us, other than to show us Cassian is driven and focused.The only issue never resolved was who Cassian's sister is/was. The too-obvious choice would be Kleya, and I also read somewhere in this thread the suggestion that it was Dedra. Hey, maybe it's Jyn Erso, which would keep alive the Star Wars tradition of retconned sibling makeouts....
