And the Next Cancelled Show is...

I am not sure why 2 and 3 year old really need new episodes. It's not like they care about HD quality and all that.
The producers of this program may see it as a debt to the American people to continue it, since it's been running for years. They may also think that since the production company only produces one program, if we cancel it, the company will be forced to shut down. Incidentally, there was a Turkish adaptation of this program in the late '80s. While the American version aired a 40th-anniversary special in 2009 in 140 countries, it wasn't broadcast in our country at all.

When the American version premieres on Netflix, it will be available here for the first time. Unaware that the Turkish version was an adaptation, our people questioned how Netflix Turkey could air such an entertaining program on November 10th, the day our founding leader passed away.

And I've noticed children's entertainers are enormously popular with adults at music festivals, because of growing up with them, so there's that too. I've met both Bram Morrison of Sharon, Lois & Bram, known for The Elephant Show, and I've also met Fred Penner. Both have recognized that some of their biggest audiences are the former kids, now adults, who grew up watching them. Fred Penner in particular, considers himself to be everybody's Grandpa.

^And yet we'll likely have less content on there due to many things being elsewhere within our market and we'll be doing musical chairs with other streaming services to get everything.
Non-Disney Hulu originals like The Handmaid's Tale have the broadcast rights in Turkey on other platforms, for example; The Handmaid's Tale is on Warner Bros., which acquired Blu TV and converted it to HBO Max. Most recently, all seasons except the last were available on Prime Video in Turkey. Nine Perfect Strangers on Hulu is available on Prime Video. Older Hulu series like The Act and The Great were also available on subscription satellite platforms like Digiturk. Now, The Act is available on Prime Video.

^Exactly. Canada has a similar predicament in that many shows already have rights to be shown elsewhere.

As for the The Handsmaid Tale, it's on Crave and CTV over here, and it has to be due to a production agreement due to their production involvement, ie financing, tax credits and all the filming done in Canada. Any change in platform would perhaps be in breach of that.

Anytime a streaming service is launched over here, it has less to offer because many things are offered elsewhere. The result is that when a new show is released, it can sometimes be a pain to figure out where it will air even when googling as many websites have too much misinformation.

Does Just Watch work for Canada or is it only for the US? That's the most reliable resource for me when trying to figure out where a show or film is streaming (or not).
