Agreed. It started out slow, but the last season was extremely well done IMO.I am sad that Defiance got cancelled. I was really getting into season 3.
But!! The way they ended that it could have been a show finale, with wiggle room if they ever returned.

Well, X-Files and Deadwood proved that if something is popular enough, even for a short-lived run, it could be brought back (if even only in movie form) if popular demand was vocal enough. Hell, Star Trek, Firefly and Battlestar Galactica proved that too. There's nothing that says Defiance couldn't return one day. Might take a few years, but I think we may see it again, if the producers and network are still interested.
I couldn't quite get into Scream Queens. I really did try, but it just didn't work for me.
I also must have missed a detail or two but why was Jamie Lee Curtis' character able to freeze herself like that?
Not surprising. Throughout the history of gaming, very few direct tie-ins come to mind as having been successful. Others here may be able to come up with a few but I can't think of any, outside maybe a handful of Trek and Wars games. I hear occasional good things about the Lego games, but they're all their own stories, as opposed to games that follow movie or TV storylines to closely. The latter are what seem to bomb more frequently. Sounds like the Defiance one was no exception. I think the only one I ever truly enjoyed was the old "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" game that came out on 16-bit Atari ST and Amigas back in the early 90's. It looked like one of those old "King's Quest" adventure games and followed the original IJatLC story line closely and was quite fun. Could never get past the invisible bridge level, though.I keep hoping that they will one day even if it's a one off movie...
I gave up on the game. They just blew that whole concept and after nearly 2 years we had no new game content. The whole TV / game tie in seemed like a cool idea but the execution was abysmal.
I'm not sure what you mean by freeze herself? It wasn't a supernatural show.
The kids tricked her into thinking that sitting in a walk in freezer, was beauty therapy at a spa.
She was in there for an hour, which should have killed her, but it didn't because it's hilarious.
They tried to kill the Dean four of five times that episode, and humourously failed each time.
Cool. Loved season 1 and hopefully Season 2 is just as good. I wonder if it will be edgier now that it knows it's on Netflix.Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt renewed for season three before the second one even starts.
I was stealing from Kimmy in regular conversation earlier today when I unforgivingly called the present : The Future.
If you've ever looked out a window, it's really hard not to do that.
My wife and I watched the first two or three episodes but we just couldn't get into it. When did it start getting better?I am sad that Defiance got cancelled. I was really getting into season 3.
So, you're saying that that mirror is trying to make me look foolish?
