And the Next Cancelled Show is...

Yeah, it doesn't look good, but the first episode on Fridays will tell the tale. If it maintains its numbers on Friday nights (or in the unlikely event it gets higher numbers), then it will prove to Fox it's a solid draw -- wherever they plug it -- with a loyal audience.

That sort of thing is valuable in the current TV landscape.

Is Sleepy Hollow a Fox produced show? Do they get the money from DVD sales or syndication (Even though they are very far that.)?

The US do 13 episodes a season.

The Brits made 12 episodes in 3 years.

There has been some divergence.

Yeah, I watched it as soon as I was finished with Season 3 of the U.S version, and aside from a few similar plot lines and characters, it really does differ quite a bit. Frank Underwood is a bit more agressive while Francis Urquart tends to be more sly, but they both do get what they want in the end.

Sly?

He murders his way to the top, and then murders his girlfriend when she figures out how he got to the top, and then his wife murders him because his mind is getting a little spotty.

It's a sex fueled bloodbath... By the standards of the day, for the intended, aged, introverted audience.

Nope, afraid not. Sleepy Hollow is a Warner Bros. show, but so was Fringe*.

Though Fringe had the benefit of a Rupert Murdoch family member as its star.

Then it's dead. Also Fridge had a set fanbase and was, you know, good, for the most part and ignoring the finale season.

I didn't say that it stayed good.

Season two is more excellent because of how well season one sucked.

Season three is more depressing because of how much season 2 rocked.

Haven't you ever built a house of cards, son?

I actually liked Season Three better than Season 2.

So you are the one.

Season 3 I think had some behind the scene issues with filming in Baltimore and that bled through into the show. It wasn't that season 3 was horrid it just wasn't good. There was no focus to it and honestly the show should last only 3-4 seasons. Two seasons for his rise t power and two for his fall at most. Now it's just going to keep dragging on without an end plan as the creator is leaving.

Sure, but by the differences between the two, he's definitely sly about it all or at least understated, whereas Frank Underwood pretty much shows it on his sleeve. They both get away with murder among other things, but the way they achieve it is very different in their attitudes, and tones of the show.

I was extremely disappointed with You Me Apocalypse. It thought it was going to be a half hour sit-com, but it was basically a drama with a smidgen of whimsy in it. Not the tone I was looking for. I'll keep watching.

SVU has been pretty outstanding lately. Getting rid of Danny Pino certainly helped.
Carisi is freaking awesome. He's quickly turned into my favorite character on the show. He had some more classic lines for the bystanders this week.

Keep watching?

The final episode aired in Britain 3 months ago.

Your despicable TV is treating you like a test monkey at a cosmetics company by artificially manipulating time to make you think that it's still November last year, for profit and...

Oh.

I forgot, you're a special one.

What you view, and when you view actually matters.

You are a decider.

You have the viewing credibility of 60,000 Americans.

That's gotta make you rock hard all the time.

Stealing advanced views through the internet can't pack a fraction of the stiffness Contributing to the Nielsenian process does, deciding who lives and dies.

Never mind.

Nothing to see here,

Move along.

;)

(No You, Me and the Apocalypse is not a sitcom, but the story flowers and tangles around and around and then in on itself, and it's really a pretty fucking excellent ride.)

Here might be the sitcom about the Apocalpse you were looking for?
