'And Christine Chapel will be played by..'

Christine Chapel will be played by whoever they get to do the voice of the computer. Or if Number One appears in the film, whoever they get to play her can put on a blonde wig and play Chapel as well.

I can see that working.

Or you can find a VA and make Chapel and #1 CGI.

Ann Coulter

It's Christine Chapel, not CHRIS Chapel.

Edit: I just watched that laughable clip. She compared Bush to FDR, and I agree: FDR knew about Pearl Harbor days before the attack and let it happen, and profited greatly off of it, an exact parallel of Bush and 9/11.

Cmon, I come into this thread about Nurse Chapel and I have to deal with Coulter garbage. I don't want Nurse C to have an adam's apple and man hands. Is that enough?

I could easily see Amanda "Carter" Tapping as Christine Chapel.

Jennifer Beals as Captain Robert April's First Officer (that he addressed as "Number One".)

Yeoman Janice Rand played by Scarlet Johansson.
Hey, that's pretty good!

Shadow Puppets !
That way they don't need to hire anyone, just have Majel's voice coming from no-where, just like with the computer !

* Why not shadow puppets ? *

Christine Chapel?
She is such a minor character that she will not be included in Trek XI. They are focusing a story on the core group and she is a glorified extra. We can talk about Christine Chapel for a Trek XII or XIII.

You must remember this story is set in the early days when Kirk and Spock first meet. They're all much younger. That in mind, I think Chapel will likely be played by , , ,

Dakota Fanning . . . .

Good idea, but I'm not sure the Browncoats would like it...

Since when have we ever minded our girls getting work?

Even if it's in Trek? :p

(FWIW, I think Jewel would make a great Christine Chapel. Kaylee was one of the few FF characters I could actually stand to watch! )

Then my work here is finished! :)

Why would that matter?

Well, with all this talk about FF being the 'anti-Trek'...and of course Alan Tudyk's smartass remarks  ... it sometimes feels as if there's a war going on.

That being said, I would *love* to see how Browncoats would react to something like Nathan Fillion playing Captain Kirk. The sound of all those jaws hitting the floor at once would shake the roof. :guffaw:
