An armed LEGO is a polite LEGO.

LAME.

LEGO was best before it sold out, and before every Tom, Harry and EMH started dicking around with it, robbing it of its innocence.

I say bring back the Fab Four: Castle, Town, Space, and Pirate!

Another priceless childhood memory destroyed. :(

Oh, poppycock. It's not like LEGO themselves haven't released weapons of death in their lego sets- even in their hey day. I seem to recall plenty of spears, swords, crossbows, knives and even guns in their sets.

Echo.

Yes, the only policy LEGO has always kept was not to make any sets that
portrayed real life militaries.

These are cool for sure, but I'll never use them on my LEGO dudes.
Only offical LEGO for me.

Check, Check, Check come August, and Check.

If you don't follow up with what LEGO is doing then you don't care. If you don't care then why are you bitching?

And LEGO released Batman weapons like the Tommy-Gun and such. At the same time they go "We aren't a violent company..."

Riiight....

Thing is though post star wars toys if Lego did market research and asked kids what they wanted - I imagine movie tie-ins with ranges they collected already would be what they asked for.

I made Lego Transformers, then my own variation on Star Trek. I was happy with my Borg! Half pirate, half space pirate with arms removed and tools inserted!

It's just as well for my parents there was no Star Wars lego back in the day.

Kind of fun! I've made TOS-era Starfleet and Klingon minifigs before.

But seriously, how is it that LEGO hasn't shut him down for copyright infringement? The weapons are his own design, but the minifigs appear to be stock LEGO pieces with custom-printed decals.

LEGO doesn't care because he is small scale.

Plus LEGO seems to steal his ideas, and others.

This site came out and sold well, LEGO made Batman weapons. Brickforge started making some cool animals like pigs and sheep, and cows. LEGO then made cows that looked exactly the same except the heads were better.

He designs them, then he can do what he wants. If LEGO has an issue he will just use MEGA BLOKS! minifigures.
