Some people like deep thinking. It's not indicative of a "problem" but commenting on automatic thoughts. We all have them.

For me, when I say "thinkers" it's related more to the Meyers Briggs assessments. While questionable validity, it is useful in terminology. You have thinkers and you have sensors. So, it's a different way of processing information, not that people don't think.

Not everything needs to be given deep thought or agonized about. Not every damn thing is indicative of some deep-seated societal problem that we need to overcome.
