You see, I'm not assuming. It is very clear from your posts that you find slaves to be lesser persons who don't need to exercise their constitutional rights. That's not an assumption. You agree with the idea that 50 years of waiting would have let slaves exercise their constitutional rights, so you feel 50 years without rights is perfectly acceptable.
Do you disagree that 50 years without rights is perfectly acceptable?
