AMC Green Light's Kevin Smith's "Secret Stash"

At first I was confused, then I understood what Garak means:

I don't care what anyone says, Chasing Amy is an absolutely brilliant film.

Feel free to slap me, but I've always been more of a Mallrats man. I mean, Chasing Amy is undoubtedly the objectively better film, but Mallrats is like Star Wars in that I can put it on any time and have a good time watching, regardless of how shitty my mood is.

An okay show, would have liked to see more of the shop/Pawn Stars-like stuff rather than the radio show booth segments.

I watched overrated Kevin "Cop Out" Smith's show for about 5 minutes and it confirmed what I originally thought - it won't last.

It's six episodes...they'll make up their minds about a season two after the season is done. As for "Cop Out" pretty sure Kevin has since admitted that it sucked.

I just watched it and liked it. It's not amazing, or the best show on TV or anything. But it's amusing to watch for 50 minutes. Kevin Smith, no matter how much he makes miscalculations film wise, is a funny dude. I like the SModcast segments...those are where I was laughing the most.

They need a better editor, though. Guys...it's really obvious some of those shots of you laughing hysterically were not from the moments shown before. It makes it look like you're trying to convince us everything is hysterical. Just normal funny is okay.

I just would have liked to see more in-shop moments and, well, can't say the bearded guy came across good in the opening episode with the smashing of those plates and stuff.

I dunno how true this is, but I heard he only signed on for it because he wanted to work with Bruce Willis again, and it was the kind of film his dad would have liked.

Also, I saw on Twitter that the opening episode got two million viewers, which is pretty good for a show that must be relatively cheap to produce.

This. I hope it sticks around, it was fun, but I won't weep any tears if it gets cancelled because there'll still be Tell 'em Steve Dave and SModcast.
