Amazons description of Full Circle (possible spoilers)

I think the Spirit Walk duology amply demonstrated that simply being on Voyager physictally does not an interesting character make.

:guffaw::rommie::lol::lol::rommie::guffaw::guffaw::lol:

I agree. Painfully.

I still maintain that if the Caeliar had failed against the Borg, then the assimilation of a certain character would be the Federation's last hope. Seconds after the assimilation, the entire collective would die in in the agonizing throes of the the resulting mental agony.

the problem with Voyager was bad writers, not bad characters ...so I trust these guys more to do good Voyager stories no matter who is in it.

I'm assuming the goal is to sell books. If that is true, Janeway will be back. Eventually. No true Voyager fan wants to read a novel without the captain/admiral in it. Trust me on that. ;)

Janeway will return as the ghost of Christmas Past to teach Chakotay the true meaning of Christmas :)

I cannot wait for Full Circle to be released, and I'm even more eager because Voyager finally has a new author in Kirsten Beyer. While I haven't read any of her previous work, even the brief blub that was posted at the start of this thread makes me excited!

No offence to Christine Golden, but I think it's time for a change of direction and a different hand at the helm. I recently re-read Homecoming and Spirit Walk and, as much as I love Voyager, they are definitely the weakest of the ST novel series out there. It'll be good to see Voyager reclaim it's place under Kirsten.

I too am looking forward to this book.

It's just one more to add to my already huge list of Trek novels, while I get in the mood for the new film.

Now, where I'll find the time to read all of them is another matter...
