Amazing Race: Unfinished Business starts tonight!

I agree, Kent should have taken that roadblock. But then it looks like he just one-upped Vyxsin on the uber-mistake of the day, though. I can't imagine how they'll be able to find that fanny pack after leaving it on one of the gondolas. Man, they really did have the leg from hell this week, didn't they?

And Ron is always annoying, but the man turned it up to 11 in this episode. Holy crap. I feel sorry for Christina, having to deal with him.

I was very impressed with the way Kent and Vyxsin fought back from their initial mistake, but what the hell was Kent thinking letting Vyxsin do a task she clearly wasn't emotionally ready for that day? He has the patience of a saint though. ;)
Yeah, I don't see the reasoning behind having Vyxsin do the challenge when she was on the verge of a meltdown to start with. But I was impressed with Kent's attitude. I kept expecting him to blow (as he has in the past), but he was surprisingly patient and supportive.

When the season started, I was rooting for Ron and Christina, but now I just want them gone. Ron's always been a bit annoying, but Christina's whining is also getting on my nerves.

Ron's in China and just wants to chill. I almost don't blame him for that... and anyway, his easy going attitude was sort of justified since this was yet another two episode leg.

I wonder if that's the new gimmick this time around - instead of non-elims, just have people keep racing. And with the time equalizers (this doesn't open until 8am!) it doesn't really matter how you do during the first half of these legs either.

Am I the only one who wouldn't have stopped that bus so Ron and Christina could get on? Not because I find them annoying, but just because I'm supposed to be trying to beat them to the finish line, so why would I want to give them a chance to catch up with me?

I can't stand the deaf guy or Mallory and her dad. I root for them to lose every Sunday. Just my luck one of these two will end up winning.

If it's a team you like, why not? Especially when it's still early in the game, then you have a team that remembers you stopped the bus for them. At least then that's one less reason for them to U-Turn you later. ;)

Eh, I suppose. I wouldn't do it to be spiteful or vindictive, I just don't want to give other teams a leg up when I'm trying to beat them. I feel the same way about teams following each other and helping each other on Roadblocks. But yeah, other teams would probably take it more personally than I'd have intended it to be.

I don't like the way racers are giving their favored teams the answers to puzzle challenges. It just makes the show more boring.

And if you don't see that team as a threat, why not help them stay in the game and hope the stronger competition gets eliminated instead?

Anyone see how it ended tonight? It was delayed because of some stupid basketball game and I had to turn from the last 20 minutes to start watching the Series Finale of Big Love. Anybody get eliminated at the end and if so who?

The cheerleaders got knocked out tonight.

And Kent and Vyxsin got off hella easy for running one of the worst legs in TAR history.

No kidding... It was fun to watch, though. Of course, Kent and Vyxsin beat four teams to the mat even with the thirty minute penalty, so that's something in their favor.

It looks to me as if the cheerleaders would have been eliminated even without being u-turned, but that may have just been the editing. They really sucked at the dinosaur challenge.

Edit: I always tag on an extra hour to my amazing race recordings. It's the most-often delayed show on television.

Tonight was one of the better episodes of the season. Nice to see the Goths come back, even though they did get extremely lucky. Also, the Cowboys have gone from being one of the worst teams, to winning a leg finally. Good for them. They are fun to watch when they're succeeding.

I'm glad the Cheerleaders are gone, but will look forward to when Margie and Luke are gone as well. Also Ron continues to be an ass and I continue to feel bad for Christina. Kind of wish there was a way to separate them so Ron can go home and Christina can continue her shot at the million. I know the race doesn't work like that, but I don't like Ron that much.

Still think the show is starting to get tired (And still hate the whole concept of the UTurn even though Flight Time and Big Easy were really cool about it) and hope they put in some new stuff. Also, bring back the Fast Forward. Those are always fun challenges.

I like Kent&Vyxsin; yes they were lucky not to be punished too harshly for their mistakes, but they also made their own luck to some extent by keeping cool in the face of a very stressful situation. Other couples would have clawed at each other's throats or just given up completely if they had been in their place.

I wonder if Kent and Vyxsin would have gotten a larger penalty if they'd just skipped the city they had to go to on that required flight and had flown directly to Kungming instead. Probably.

I'm a little disappointed to see the cheerleaders go, but I don't get why teams complain when their taxi drivers stop for gas. Would they rather have their cab run out of fuel before they get to their destination?

Yeah, maybe if they had gained an advantage from breaking the rules it would've required a bigger penalty, but since they took a worse flight than the others there's not really a point.

That cracked me up.

They did a good job to catch up with everyone, though they were saved by that long wait for the train that everyone had to take. It was cool to see the teams just hanging out and playing basketball and having fun for a while.
