AMAZING NEW PICS of the Big E getting refurbished!

Wasn't the studio lighting reeeealy bright and hot to light the whole model evenly with it all in focus? I don't think I'd like that, if I go to visit her. Have to take my shirt off like the dudes in the pics. I don't think the Smithsonian and its guards would care for THAT.

I have seen the 1/1000 Polar Lights model done up as the shooting model, in a blue screen setting with model cameras. I can't swear the modeler rendered the left side as blank, though. Nor can I remember who did it or where to find a pic. I'll check over at Starship Modeler and see if it's there.

I can't see the pic at work, but I can see the video. But that's not it.
No, I'm talking about a diorama of the sound stage as it would appear to a person standing there on the sound stage. Blue screen background, cameras, lights, track and dolly mount, etc, etc. Basically reproducing a behind-the scenes photo of the stage. And they used the 1/1000 model, not the 1/350.
