Very interesting! Familiar, yet different. Looks almost like a mashup between modern and '50s styling.

Different technology too: reactors in the nacelles, the dilithium provides the antiproton stream, no Bussard system—refuel at the nearest gas giant—gravity based impulse and maneuvering—one technology supposes the other: artificial gravity and antigravity, thus tractor beams and drive systems.

And it's a means to hone my Blender skills. Illuminating lettering and numbers was something I wanted to do a few years ago on another project, and emissive textures let's me do that. I think light sensitive, dual state livery and numbers are a possible future technology.
