In FC it was never explained how Worf was supposed to keep a low profile on an Earth where no one had ever seen a Klingon, given that the first Klingon ever to appear there was the one in Broken Bow...
But "Broken Bow" is set in 2151, right? First Contact is like nine decades earlier.
Precisely, so (in case of Picard blowing up the ship) it would have been hard for Worf to live on Earth without changing history in innumerable ways.
I'm going to have to revise this. In light of revisiting the Kelvin Films.Well, heck, if we're doing it that way then:

Into Darkness -- Too many things ruin it for me. And none of it has to do with Benedict Cumberbatch. He's fine. So is Bruce Greenwood. It's everything else. Literally everything else.

Not just Worf: I'm sure there were many other alien crew members. I'd love a shot of a Horta or Phylosian crewmember reacting to Picards "stay out of histories way" order.
I don't think a Horta could be a passenger on a star fleet starship, let alone a member of the crew. Btw, if I remember correctly, there were no civilians on board at that time.

Why?
Do Horta sleep? If so I am sure Starfleet can be accommodating in some measure for such a slight issue, since sleep walking appears to not be much of an issue in Star Trek any way.Well, what if a Horta is sleepwalking and without knowing it digs a hole through the hull of his ship?
