There were female officers on the Enterprise wearing short sleeve skirts, long sleeve skirts, and regular colored shirt over black shirt with slacks combo.

It looked like the female crew on the Kelvin were all wearing the blue and green jumpsuits as well. Maybe as the ships got technologically more advanced the dresscode got more lax.
