And yet the official site and at least some of the LFSG are saying they are. There's even a sponsor, and they've hired their usual stable of presenters. Someone clearly hasn't got their story straight, or someone is taking uninformed clickbait BS at face value. Either/or.

Customer support probably didn't have the right info. It was from 2 different agents, so they all had the same info (probably a central database on their computer)
 
If LFL is handling the streaming then the lower level customer service peons at the company in charge of the convention might not be aware that it's happening.
 
Ironically, customer service is always the last to know anything. I mean why keep the people who's job it is to deal with customer inquiries in the know? ;)

Which is why it's always important to check one's sources, exercise a little common sense and critical thinking, not just blindly repeat misinformation.
 
Specifically they said the infrastructure wasn't there to support it. But things are always in flux.

If it's like the last one, not every panel will be streamed. They even kept ones that were streamed in previous years off the streaming scheduel.

Lots of little details to pick out, though for me the biggest thing seems to be that Merrin is now just straight up using the force like a Jedi to an extent, with a minimum of green fire magiks.
Nice to see everyone having moved on a bit in the last 5 years, and it's not just status quo from where the first game left off.
I think this finally confirms that the mysterious figure in the bacta tank is indeed a surviving Jedi from the High Republic, presumably left in stasis. Clearly waking up to a galaxy spanning Empire in place of the Republic, and the likes of Cal claiming the title of Jedi Knight is going to be one hell of a culture shock.
Oh and we may finally actually get to play 1313 . . . sort of.

I always wanted an early 1980’s Star Trek/Star Wars crossover if for no other reason than to see McCoy slap one out of a Jedi’s hand after an amputation and giving him an ear-full on how barbaric such things are.

I'll be happy if it doesn't turn into "Street Fighter" during every lightsaber battle. I went from happily using every move and power at my disposal to suddenly have to memorize attack animations and timing counter-moves and, ultimately, giving up and resetting the difficulty to story-mode until the sequence was over so I could just move on.

It's always going to be a bit of a design challenge to create lightsaber combat where 90% of opponents don't have lightsabers to be both balanced and credible. Go too realistic and every fight ends in two seconds flat with a bifurcated enemy. Too gamey, and it's just a glowey nerf bat.

Donald Glover is in talks with Lucasfilm to return as Lando and said he would love to play him again with the right story:

What that project would be is remaining under wraps. As Glover said, “We’re talking about it. That’s as much as I can say without [Lucasfilm president] Kathleen Kennedy hunting me down.”

“Lando is charm incarnate,” Glover said. “He’s kind of a maverick, which I don’t think there’s a lot of anymore. It’s hard to be the smooth talker nowadays. Where’s the line? That’s also where the danger is. How close can you get without tripping over it?”

Glover continued, “I would love to play Lando again. It’s a fun time, being him. It just has to be the right way to do it. Time is precious. The past couple of years, this pandemic shit, it really had people experience time… People realize their time is valuable. You only get so much. I’m not interested in doing anything that’s going to be a waste of my time or just a paycheck. I’d much rather spend time with people that I enjoy. It just has to be the right thing, and I think it could be. Lando is definitely somebody I like to hang out with.”​
 
I would definitely up for a Lando show, especially if we get some kind of flashforwards with Billy Dee Williams too.
 
I thought a Lando series with Donald Glover was already confirmed? Anyway, Glover as Lando was definitely the best thing about Solo, so, yeah, sign me up for another opportunity to see him as Lando.

They threw a jpg of a logo up on a screen once a few years ago; that's been about it until now. If they're at the stage of active negotiation with Glover that probably means it's finally in a state where they're at least comfortable making the pitch.
