All things RED Dwarf

Dog: If you’re going to say that word please spell it.

Cat: When’s the last time you took a B.A.T.H?

Dog: What’s that?

I was thinking about the books the other day, specifically the "Everybody's dead, Dave" scene but in the book Holly starts screaming at Lister, saying the phrase in every combination he can think of. I was up in the racks on my order picker and started laughing hysterically.

Did you know that according to Infinity Welcomes Careful Drivers there are 7 Cat Commandments? (Page 128)

The seven Cat Commandments are:

1) Thou shalt not be cool
2) Thou shalt not be in vain
3) Thou shalt not have more than 10 suits
4) Thou shall not partake of carnal knowledge with more than four members of the opposite sex at any one session
5) Thou shalt not slink
6) Thou shalt not hog the bathroom
7) Thou shalt not steal anothers' hair gel

I think Cat has broken every one except #4

I posted this a year ago, but thought it was blocked. This shall be henceforth known as triple fried egg butty day.

And see, Holly does have some downtime, at least when he's jiggered.
I’ve always been tempted to actually try this….

The crossover we never got! Which may be for the best, given the temporal proximity after which the JMC Mining Vessel goes "boom boom" and all...

(I still can't believe "Demons and Angels" had the actual ship prop blown up, but one of the DVD extra documentaries revealed the cast always thought each new series was the last, so imagine how much shock the cast felt when finding out about the actual model being destroyed in a blaze of glory -- and thankfully in just one take! )

The second one is one of mine, made in response to the usual "that's not the TARDIS" in the full speed version I posted before that.

Two of my "scenes that remind me of other scenes"

(0:43 in is a hoot, the scrubber's pointer also has labeled "most replayed" above it*, and he's workin' that helmet from Doctor Who's "Earthshock" too!)

* can't imagine why :guffaw:

I must have seen that episode 100 times - one of the 6 I had on tape a a kid. Always felt the way Kyrton said "programmed" to be really weird
His accent in his first season or so is all over the place because they just never decided what it should be. The stick he gets in the commentaries on the dvds for it is worth the price of the dvds alone.

Kryten’s replacement in The Last Day is played by Gordon Kennedy from the Scottish sketch show, Absolutely and another member of Absolutely is in Stasis Leak. Morwenna Banks as the lift attendant.
