All things RED Dwarf

The Thin Blue Line, Red Dwarf (obviously), A Bit of Fry & Laurie, Mr.Bean, Allo’ Allo’, Are You Being Served?, Blackadder, The IT Crowd, The Cleaner, just to mention a few…

Can anyone recommend any other good British comedies on Britbox?
I may re-watch Bottom, if it is on Britbox.
No idea if they're all on Britbox but check out:
Absolutely Fabulous, Keeping up Appearances, The Vicar of Dibley, Peep Show, Derry Girls, The Inbetweeners

Man, no scripted comedies for UKTV? A bit much on their part. And at the age of the actors for this show, it's kind of like giving them the middle finger; by the time they change their minds, they may be too old, have health issues that prevent them, one of them could even pass away.

Especially unfair when they said to them "lets do this" and then turn around and tell them they changed their minds after a script was written and they were all set to come back. Stinky.

I imagine whoever it was who had begun initial conversations with Doug were called into a meeting by their boss (and/or their bosses boss) and told "No more scripted. Cancel any pipeline" rather than strung him along knowing they weren't going to put anything into production.

I'm surprised Big Finish never did Red Dwarf audios. (I went looking to see if they had, and found what I thought was an announcement from 2022, but it was an April Fool's joke.)

"Red Dwarf" audio book excerpt:

Chris Barrie: "You stewpid twit, you're actually listening to this then? You do know the cheap bastards at the BBC could only afford me, right? You can't even see my glorious face! What's the point? Anyhow, chapter one..."

That's a good point. Barrie's such a good mimic that he could do the whole thing himself pretty convincingly. Though of course, it would be better to do it full-cast.
