Data: Both of the other ships have been destroyed.

[LeadHead]

Picard: Data, report!

 

[Vanyel]

Data: The anomaly is nearly collapsed.

 

[LeadHead]

La Forge: We're losing containment!

 

[Vanyel]

Q: Goodby Jean-Luc. I’m going to miss you. You had such potential. But then again, all good things must come to an end.

 

[LeadHead]

La Forge: Containment field is at critical. I'm Losing it!

 

[Vanyel]

(The anomaly collapses onto the future Enterprise.
Picard is on the dais of the post apocalyptic court room.)


Q (dressed in his judge robes): The Continuum didn’t think you had it in you, Jean-Luc, but I knew you did.

 

[LeadHead]

Picard: Are you saying that it worked? We collapsed the anomaly?

 

[Vanyel]

Q: Is that all this meant to you? Just another spatial anomaly? Just another day at the office?

 

[LeadHead]

Picard: Did it work?

 

[Vanyel]

Q: Well, you’re here aren’t you? You’re talking to me, aren’t you?

 

[LeadHead]

Picard: What about my crew?

 

[Vanyel]

Q: The anomaly, my ship, my crew…I suppose you’re worried about your fish too. If it puts your mind at ease, you’ve saved humanity…once again.

 

[LeadHead]

Picard: Thank you.

 

[Vanyel]

Q: For what?

 

[LeadHead]

Picard: You had a hand at helping me get out of this.

 

[Vanyel]

Q: I was the one who got you into it, a directive from the Continuum. The part about the helping hand though, was my idea.

 

[LeadHead]

Picard: I sincerely hope that this is the last time I find myself here.

 

[Vanyel]

Q: You just don’t get it do you, Jean-Luc? The trial never ends. We wanted to see if you had the ability to expand your minds and your horizons, and for one brief moment, you did.
