I added this at the end of a post I made, but I wanted to say it again, hoping most of you would read it...

Believe it or not, I really am a nice, kind, thoughtful person. My anger gets in the way of those things too often, and I feel like I owe all of you an apology...I've always lashed out at those around me because it's easier than dealing with my life. I hope you all can forgive me, though, most of you won't even read this...

So, maybe, we can start over, wipe the slate clean, and maybe even become friends? All I ask is for a chance, if any of you feel like you don't want to, I understand and won't hold anything against any of you...

You're going to be the new me, I think. Every time you feel you've crossed a line or behaved poorly (particularly if you were angry), you'll feel driven to make a public apology.

I've found the people on the BBS to be pleasant, tolerant and, those couple of times where I've genuinely behaved poorly, forgiving. I'm sure you'll fit in fine.

As for anger, even the greatest anger begins to fade in time, or can be transformed into something new. I know how hard it can be to feel that particular emotion when it's unwelcome - "Deranged Nasat learns about anger" was basically a running theme of mine - but you'll work through it in the end. The fact that you already care so much about everyone here is evidence for that, as far as I'm concerned.

Sage advice for any newbie. Get the spirit of the place before you piss off those who have been around for a while.

BTW Gem, you really haven't done anything to apologize for (at least in this forum). If you had, Locutus, 4th Hansen Brother, or myself would be the ones screaming at you to knock it off. So no worries, 'k?
