Alarm sound in 'Mr. and Mrs. Smith' same as TNG Shuttlebay alarm?

I was watching part of Mr. and Mrs. Smith tonight and during the part where Brad Pitt is getting that guy out of the cell under the courthouse, there is an alarm sounding. The two-note siren sounded to me exactly like the shuttlebay alarm from TNG that sounds when the bay door is coming up. Am I correct? More to the point, does this indicate I've seen waaay too much TNG?

In Hollywood there's a huge cache of sounds for various things that everyone picks from to liven up their productions. Smith just picked the same sound TNG did.
