Spoilers AHSOKA series [Spoiler Discussion]

This just makes me want a Clone Wars live action movie. It would be completely pointless but I would watch it

Thrawn is going to be the big bad for the entire Mando-verse moving forward. I don't expect the first season of Ahsoka to do little more than bring him back and set up the threat moving forward.

In other words: This show is just filler/setup until more content comes down the pike later on.

If Thrawn comes back, and just wrecks a few of these new Republic cruisers with just his old, damaged Star Destroyer and a hyperspace ring, he will mean business.

Wait. The main villain is going to be some guy who isn't Force sensitive?

Nope. You only see Thrawn's ship get taken.
But you hear about a little more.

“Um, was that the plan? Because we're all clear up here. There are no Imperial ships left.”

The implication seems to be that every Imperial ship that had not already been destroyed was dragged away.

Right. I mean we know that Pellaeon was on one of those ships and he didn't get taken to the Delta quad-- I mean the other galaxy.
That is . . . also ambiguous. All we know is that he's around (and wearing Thrawn's fleet symbol) while Bo Katan is taking back Mandalore. We don't know yet if that is happening now , just about to happen, or won't happen for the best part of a year.

Imagine that young girl, blue lightsabers in hand...just a few hours before had jumped out of a LAAT/i, with no jetpack, and fought her way down to the surface...and got there first before anyone else did. Sticking the cool landing with explosion behind her.

It's almost like...

...the story isn't finished.
Well you gotta put the filler somewhere!

And a few months prior she was on a spice run from Kessel to Obad Diah. Now I'm trying to picture just how young the Martez sisters would have been too. Trace is probably about Ahsoka's age, perhaps younger, and Rafa couldn't be much more than 19, maybe 20. Translating Star Wars animation into live action is low-key horrifying in it's implications.

On the other hand though; these are about the ages that Lucas had initially intended Luke & Leia to be, and it is easy to forget that Carrie Fisher was indeed just 19 when they filmed in '76.

And defeating Maul in combat.

At least with Omega, we really feel like she's a kid. But I agree that seeing her in live action as she is in Bad Batch would be pretty horrifying, too.

I do agree making Thrawn the big bad is rather lacklustre. I understand.the idea he could reunite the Imperial renamants together but that it is not given. Many in the Empire were xenophobic and chauvinistic and so they might just reject him. People only listened to Thrawn because Vader and Sidious told them to.
