I don't think they've said, but as an educated guess I'd say it's a puppet in most of the medium to close-up shots. Possibly a full-body rig in some of the mid to long shots, but mostly CG, especially anytime you see him walk. Even with a puppet, there's going to be a fair amount of digital rod removal and touch-up, but just having the prop on set is bound to be excellent lighting and animation reference for the digital double.Has anybody seen or read how they're doing Huyang on the show? He doesn't seem to be CGI, but his proportions look wrong for a guy in a suit. Is he a puppet?
And I already can't get a ticket for Seattle.Episode 5 will be shown in select theatres

Brandon Wayne is John Wayne's... Grandson? Nephew? I remember reading that he's related, but I can't remember the exact relationship.

Based off of a Japanese style puppetry bunraku.C3P0 in TPM was played by Anthony Daniels wearing a full body rig, with the actor painted out in post.
To each their own. This is been peak Star Wars in my opinion.I have fallen asleep during 3 out of 4 episodes.
It's so boring.
They made David Tenant boring.
That's a David Copperfieldarian level magic trick.
