So, on the costuming and make-up First Contact Day session, Gersha Phillips acknowledged their 32nd Century uniforms, blend into the Discovery sets, but worked well on the futuristic Starfleet HQ sets.

Hopefully we may see some set updates (as a continuation of the refit perhaps) come Season 4

I noticed this last season and kept thinking: "oh they should change these", only to see it verbalized by Gersha during the panel, then surprise! New unis.

Gorgeous uniforms...f'ing gorgeous.

The new uniforms definitely look more like a futuristic version of TNG era uniforms than what they were wearing in the 32nd century last year. Also- I was just thinking the other day that Detmer should probably have her appliance updated with future tech and -voila!

Really like the look of these the red has real TWOK vibes and finally I can actually tell what department the Disco crew are and I know we have been through this already but I think it is important that the uniforms stand out as Trek IRL and these really do that. My only complaint is that between the 23rd and 32nd century Starfleet still cant find a tailor who can cut a symmetrical uniform

I think I disliked the TNG uniforms for that reason. These are more tolerable, but the collars...

Love the dark maroon red .. Still don't like that collar front piece ... Looks tacked on and I dispise tacked on.. Owell.

It's her look. Like Geordie's VISOR or Kira's earring. Might be some tech the tech reason she can't get rid of it.
