Just in case you want to go into your rewatch fresh I will spoiler code...Damn, did he die? I thought he was still out there somewhere? Huh. Clearly a rewatch is in order.
Unblock!Oh, that's right. Thanks for the refresher. I knew he became Lash and was reoccurring in that form, but I had forgotten how he died. I guess because it was so disappointing, I blocked it out.![]()
He played four of the five Koenig quintuplets. They haven't been seen since season 4. The first Koenig that we met was Eric Koenig, which was the name of one of Nick Fury's WW2 unit, the Howling Commandoes.Who was Patton Oswalt's characters? I would like to see him return. Jason
Ah, yeah, I definitely blocked that out of disappointment.Unblock!

I would call season 2 an equal to season 4 any day. How can you go wrong with Kyle MacLachlan? And as I said a few post back, the back 9 of season 1 are as good as anything the show has ever done. They completely won me over though when they retooled the show with Season 4. I thought the Winter Soldier arc and "4,722 Hours" were pretty solid, but the rest of Seasons 1-3 were shit. Granted, they were being executive meddled on two different fronts by Kevin Feige (forcing them to keep Hydra alive well past their sell-by date for an agonizing 40+ episodes until The Avengers killed them off in the opening minutes of their sequel) and Ike Perlmutter (forcing them to provide a ton of set up for his Inhumans film-turned-TV series).
Given that the show was originally cancelled by ABC after Season 4 (until Disney CEO Bob Iger himself stepped in and forced them to uncancel it), I'm just thrilled that we got three bonus seasons. It's nice to see a shitty show really turn things around creatively and actually be rewarded for it. This could have very easily been a Sylvester McCoy era Doctor Who/Star Trek: Enterprise situation. "Oh, shit! It finally got good!!! ...And it's dead."

"Best. Day. Ever."Season 2 wasn't my cup of tea, but MacLachlan was a goddamn delight in every scene he was in. The dude was clearly having a blast, and it was infectious.
