Spoilers Agatha All Along discussion and spoilers.

They said each episode would homage a different witch-related story or movie. There was a bit of Hansel and Gretel here, but were the style of the house and the wardrobe change meant to evoke any particular production?
I read on some page this morning that the episode was supposed to reference Big Little Lies. Which would make it the second HBO show referenced.

I watched all three episodes over the last couple of days. This season is pretty neat for me because Fantastic Four 185 and 186, which had the first appearances of Nick Scratch and Salem's Seven, were the first Fantastic Four comics I bought off the rack with my own money. I read them so much as a kid that they fell apart.

That makes sense, even though I've never seen it. The thing it most reminded me of was an American Horror Story. It had the same kind of glossy feel to it.

Loved the Hansel and Gretel mentioned.

"She probably wouldn't even recognise her own son" line is way too obvious unless it's an absolute bluff.

Please don't let Sharon be dead!

So it looks like Sharon is staying dead.
And Rio popped back up pretty quickly, literally in this case, and it looks like we possibly have some kind of romantic history between her and Agatha.
Since it looks like she might be Death, does this mean they're moving the whole in love with Death thing from Thanos to Agatha?
The stuff in the house gave us some nice character development for Alice, and the rock version of Down The Witches' Road was pretty cool.
It's also really starting to look more and more like "Teen" is Agatha's son.

Oh I missed that. I think my mom or the dogs started making a bunch of noise, so I might have missed some of the dialogue.
But actually that could be more evidence that his is Nicholas, since they said earlier in the season that Agatha gave him to the devil guy who's name I'm totally blanking on, in exchange for the Darkhold. So that would mean that he's Devil Guy's and not Agatha's since she gave him up.

Some great fun again and I loved the new version of "The Ballad of the Witches' Road." I suspect we'll get a few more versions of it before the end.

I'm glad they didn't waste any time delving into Alice's background, the nature of her curse, and her relationship with her mom. I do wonder if there were any kind of Easter eggs in the house, particularly the murals and masks. I definitely felt like something was teased that I didn't know.

Considering the line in the ballad "Gather sisters fire, water, earth, and air" and how the first two houses have had underlining themes with two of those elements, I'm willing to also bet that we'll see houses that are tied with earth and air.

I'm very happy Rio is already back to haunt and titillate Agatha, but I'm also sad that Sharon appears to be properly dead (for now...). But I did love how the show, yet again, played on our expectations and made us think she was going to be revived in some manner.

How can you forget everyone's favorite boogeyman? Mephisto! :D

Thank you! I knew who he was, I just couldn't think of his name for some reason.

I still think we haven't seen the last of Sharon. You can't just do that to Kitty Forman. If they don't someone might need a foot in their ass. :)

Oh, I would be very surprised if we've seen the last of her. The only question is how does she return?

This reminds, she has been doing That '90s Show, and the last batch of episode just came out in August, so there's a chance she might have been busy with that, and was only available for those first two episodes.

This show is so much fun!

I really enjoyed them singing the new version of The Ballad of the Witches Road,.

Strange - i have the exact opposing feeling. This show is boring as hell, not even Hahn's charisma can save it and she doesn't have much to work with.

Plaza is funny as always but i feel she's typecast in weird roles ever since she broke out in Park & Rec.

For me it's a slog to get through the episode and that's not a good sign.

Mephisto is the Rani of the MCU!

I'm enjoying the show, but at the moment it very much feels like the characters are on rails and it almost has the vibe of a computer game about it. That might be unavoidable given they're following the Witches Road, but you'd think there'd be some room to manoeuvre, wrong turns for them to take, and perhaps that's coming.
