Spoilers Agatha All Along discussion and spoilers.

It was also - pretty transparently - an effort to save money by using a pretty simple set with minimal VFX.

I dunno... My first thought was "bottle show" too, but a bottle show is shot on a show's pre-existing sets, and the house sets were all-new, unless they were left over from some other production. And there were some significant FX scenes -- swelling all the actresses' faces was either a fairly extensive makeup effect or a fairly extensive digital effect, either of which would've been costly. And flooding a set with water is a pretty major, challenging practical effect, while digital water would also cost a bunch.

So... the rumor that Agatha traded her son for the Darkhold + her seeing a cradle with the book in it... will we see Nicholas Scratch?

I'm starting to wonder if Teen is both Nicholas Scratch and Wican, and they're just combining the two characters. It would a lot simpler to just have him be the son that Agatha gave up, instead of the whole thing in the comics with Wanda's sons being illusions, who had real souls that were then randomly reborn in two other kids, and all of the Mephisto stuff that was part it too.
This episode was great. It was fun seeing them all being forced to work together for the firs time.
Debra Jo Rupp was a highlight, her reactions to all the crazy witchy stuff were hysterical. I'm hoping she's not dead, but her dying is a good way to force Agatha to accept Rio into the coven when she shows up.
The hallucinations were nice way to start to give us some hints to coven's backstories.

I don't think the teen is Scratch. I think it's Wanda's son Billy. I do think getting Scratch back is what Algatha wants most though and we will see this come to head in the final episode or two. Billy will be wanting to reunite with his twin brother and maybe bring Wanda back to life. Some of that stuff I think will play out in the Vision show as well.

I was expecting him to be Scratch, but that scene with Jennifer telling Teen about Agatha's son telegraphed so heavily that he was the son that it made me suspect it's a red herring. They probably wouldn't make it so obvious if it's the real answer.

Oh, I didn't realize that. I read about The Salem Seven on Wikipedia after the first episodes, but I missed that.

We might be overlooking the obvious. In the comics Scratch is the leader of The Salem Seven, the very tribunal that is awaiting her back home.

Oh, right. I had the thought that maybe we'd be led to think Teen was Agatha's son, but the twist would be that her son was actually the main villain instead. But I wasn't confident enough to suggest it. Now I am.

Oh, I could have sworn it said they were her children when I read up on them, I will admit I just kind of skimmed it though.

This show is so much fun! I want to be in Ahatha's coven.

Is Teen perhaps Agatha son she sold for the dark hold, or is that the obvious route?

The song over the end credits is perfection as well. It's been a whole since I watched Wandavision- is the same song Agatha sung?

Funko again leaks future developments

I think they play a different song over the end titles each week. According to io9, this week's song was “Heads Will Roll” by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, though I can't confirm that since I've never heard of it or them.

Agatha's song in WandaVision was called "Agatha All Along," which is why this show is called that.

So i never really read much of the magical corner of Marvel, Dr. Strange and all that so i'm very unfamiliar with the characters which isn't necessarily a bad thing as i have no clue who any of them are ( if they are comics characters at all). Agatha i have heard at least name dropped before the appeared in Wandavision.

So far it's ok, not exactly blowing me out of my seat but few things do these days when it comes to Marvel. I'll be watching to the end i think but so far the show hasn't impressed me much.

The bigger thing i wonder is how this show will feature into the future of the MCU. It is far removed from the main storyline MCU, if there even is such a thing anymore now that the Kang storyline is dead. It seems to me this show was developed and put into motion before Marvel so to speak imploded and started to make heavy course corrections that make me doubt if this has any future at all.

Will this lead to anything, i.e. will Agatha or any of the characters make the trip back to the cinema screen or will Marvel keep the streaming shows and movies separate for most of the time?

The only way I can see it connecting to the wider MCU is that there's a chance "Teen" might be the MCU version of the Young Avengers character Wiccan. They seem to be setting up a Young Avengers or Champions team for some point in the future, so if that does become a movie or series, there's pretty good chance he'll be part of it.

Well I have heard talks about a future Wanda movie. Which means Wanda has to come back to live. I wonder if this could lead into that. The "Teen" if he is who many people think he is I think has a shot of also being on the "Vision" show. Like mentioned also possible connections to a Young Avengers movie. IMO that stuff is just icing on the cake if it happens. I am enjoying the show for what it is. Which is better than some stuff the MCU has made in recent years. If anything i like it as the MCU might be returning to form.
