What is funny and brilliant about your comment, is the Breen frigate seen in DS9 is not as asymmetrical as many people believe it to be... I mean there is an asymmetry to the design, but nowhere near the extent as say, the Lore controlled Borg Renegade ship presented in TNG. Which works, as like all things, there is a scale or gradient to consider, rather than just, it is or is not... lol
