I love it, they look awesome.
The site TV Fanatic, which reports it as from episode 09. The “possibly,” and question mark are there because I’m not sure of its legitimacy, but figured I’d share it just in case it’s for real.

I believe both the TNG era cadet uniforms and the new 32nd Century cadet uniforms on DIS each have a single color, so I was thinking they might be a new cadet uniform, maybe one specific for the Protostar?

The cadet uniforms seen in one of the Lower Decks episodes is also all grey from what I remember, so it tracks. Nice find, if this image is accurate!
Even Zero is done up in Starfleet livery. So what about Murf? What about Murf?
I like that in true TNG era fashion they're onesies. Was thinking training or cadet uniforms because of the colour scheme
They’re so TNG inspired, I love it. The general design is almost an inverted/flipped version of the TNG design, but with the off-center/asymmetrical “V” flipped, and positioned at the top of the upper torso & midriff are rather than the bottom.
I really dig how both remiscent of the classic TNG uniform and unique/distinct they are at the same time.
Zero needs to raid the parts bin and make himself a new body.
Maybe Murf ate the uniform.
I agree, eventually. But i think part of Zero’s visual identity is the homemade nature of the containment suit, and it makes sense to keep some level of consistency for the time being. And it’s not himself, it’s themself, Zero is non-binary.
I still think we're owed an image of Murf with the uniform floating within.

Is it just me, or do the stripes on Caitian Girl's forehead look kind of like Klingon ridges? On topic though, I like the design. The style is similar enough to work as a cadet jumpsuit alongside the 2385 uniforms.
