SPOCK: Irrelevant, since we are here.

 

[Athena28]

OXMYX: Oh, yeah. I tell you, you'd better come on back down. Krako's put the bag on your captain.

SPOCK: Why would he put a bag on our captain? (Poster's note: Oh Spock, why must you take everything so literally? LOL).

OXMYX: Kidnapped him, you dope.

[Bridge]

OXMYX [OC]: He'll scrag him, too.

 

[Leandar]

Spock: If I understand you correctly, that would seem to be a problem.

[Oxmyx's office]

OXMYX: Look, you guys got something I want. I can help you get your captain back.

 

[retroenzo]

OXMYX [OC]: Then we can talk about the deal I want.

 

[LeadHead]

Spock: I'm afraid I find it difficult to trust you, Mister Oxmyx.

 

[Athena28]

[Oxmyx's office]

OXMYX: What's to trust? Business is business. We'll call a truce. You come on down. My boys'll spring Kirk, and then we'll talk about giving me a hand.

 

[LeadHead]

Spock: You'll show no further hostility?

[Oxmyx's office]

OXMYX: I'm a businessman, pally. What do ya say?

 

[LeadHead]

The bridge,

Spock: Since we must have our captain back, I accept.

Oxmyx's office.

Spock: We shall arrive in your office within ten minutes. Spock out.

Oxmyx smiles as he closes the communicator.

MCCOY: You mean you're going to trust him?

SPOCK: If we are to save the captain without blatant, forceful interference on this planet, Doctor, we must have the assistance of someone indigenous. We are therefore forced to trust Mr. Oxmyx.
