Interior of an engine nacelle.
A large science lab with lots of blueshirts working in it, reporting to Spock in his office. Sell me on the idea that this is really a vessel of exploration.
I'd like to have seen Kirk's office. He had to have somewhere to handle mundane affairs, like personnel evaluations and Starfleet updates at some place other than his quarters or the center seat.
This! Why were most of the ship's portholes wasted on areas that we never saw...?Whatever the hell is in the neck that has so many windows!
It would be nice, but I always got the impression that the TOS Enterprise didn't have one. Kirk always seemed to be doing that business from the desk in his quarters. Now, using a briefing room for such meetings, with dividers for privacy perhaps, would make some sense. Just take out the big table and put said dividers in, and you have a set.I'd like to have seen Kirk's office. Oh, well, any decent brand of Scotch will do that.I'd like to see a non gravity rec room where crew members can bounce off the walls and ceiling.
I'll also throw in the galley, since I don't think anyone's mentioned that yet. Live turkeys and Chef Roddenberry optional.
Spock's Barber said:That room that Elaan runs to after biting Kirk. That has to be the Captain's Crapper (?)
And that was only a joke until you posted this.I'll also throw in the galley, since I don't think anyone's mentioned that yet. Live turkeys and Chef Roddenberry optional.
They were only real turkey's after Charlie changed then from synthetic meatloaf.
Those are actually Uhura's quarters. That room that Elaan runs to after biting Kirk. That has to be the Captain's Crapper (?).

FWIW, The Making of Star Trek explicitly describes that half of Kirk's quarters as his office.
The observation deck behind the three portholes at the bow of the saucer.![]()

Here's the sets I'd like to see:
- Recreation deck (TOS style)
- Starfleet Marine training/ready rooms
- CIC (Combat Information Center)
- Officer's club/mess hall
