Well one of the coolest things ever happened to me. :D Keith R.A. DeCandido, named a character in his latest book "A Time for War, A Time for Peace" after me. :D How cool is that?
I didn't even know about it, until Steven told me about it. I am just so giddy right now, hehe. I actually didn't plan to read the A Time To series right away, cos I'm kinda busy with school. Well, change of plans. :) I Definately plan to get all of them soon and also read them ASAP.

:D :D :D
I'll let you know if you get killed or not. ;) :p

First, it's VERY good to see you, The Evil Dead! We've missed you around here!
I missed you too!

What's going on? What's happenin'? Did you give up on The X-Files yet? Most importantly, how are you feeling, kiddo??

Woo! :D

My parents came into the city today and I finally have the B5 season 1 and season 2 episode guides in my hands! :D

Good stuff. :D

Me and my g/f went to see Sky Captain today. I really loved the movie, and she also liked it (even though she was expecting to hate it). It really sucks that it's box office is so low. But yeah, I loved the movie, I thought it looked great, some of the action scenes were absolutely amazing. Funny thing is though, it had a very Star Wars feeling to it. Even the music reminded me of it. :) Anyway, if anyone reading this hasn't seen it yet, you should! The theatre was actually fairly full which surprised me (cos if it's low box office).

Oh yeah, I also got a really cool frame for my DS9 poster which looks even more amazing now. :D

EDIT: Oh yeah, I also watched the "We're so Screwed" Farscape three-parter. That was some good stuff. :D The reason I took such a huge break (like...over two weeks) in my viewing of Farscape is cos I didn't wanna have a huge gap till the mini series. Now all I have to do is watch "Bad Timing", and then I'll be all set. :D

Well, this is just *too* cool, BigFoot! I'm very excited for you!

I can't imagine having a character named after me - that would be neat! :)

So now you'll be famous! Hopefully, it is a good-guy character! ;)

And The Evil Dead...I haven't watched anymore X-Files lately, I'm afraid. I've been pretty busy IRL with work, a personal life ( ;) ) and The Sims 2, which came out a couple of weeks ago.

But I'll be getting back to it soon - I have to, before I forget what was going on at the end of season 5!!!

Hey everybody! Haven't posted in this thread for a while, so I thought I'd show up today. :)

Ordered my ticket online for the sneak preview of Team America this weekend (hopefully the rumors of the film still being finished aren't true, or that at least it'll still be released on schedule). From what I've read in an early review on AintItCool.com, it should be a pretty funny experience. I don't usually take in evening movies, since I don't like dealing with lines and crowds, but this kind of film might be more fun with a large audience. I really hope it's worth seeing! :)

I finally saw Fahrenheit 9/11 this evening, and I was pretty impressed by it. It was quite interesting and seemingly well-made; whether the "facts" are completely accurate is debateable, of course. ;) Definitely some powerful emotional stuff at times, and some rather appalling (or at least poorly worded) statements by government leaders. I plan to go back later tonight and watch the extra scenes on the DVD.

^ Wow! That looks good, BigFoot! :)

I'll have to go find mine later today and try it out!

Thanx. :D Yeah I really love being able to use the extra 3600 pixels. The avs look so much better. Oh yeah, if you can't find your new av, here's a link to it: orlando av - 100x100px

Well, I'll probably leave mine the size it is. It's hard enough for me to keep these under 60K as it is (unless they changed the file size as well as the dimensions).
