Kosh is dead? :( And Franklin is gone? :(
Yes. :( And yes.

Another quite decent episode, wouldn't you say? And the next two... :D

Gee, stargirl, you moved up the ranks even slower than me. No mean feat. :D

So, anyone got the Star Wars Trilogy set already? :) I'm going downtown later today, I plan to get it plus a couple of other things. I need to get something for my g/f (probably 50 First Dates) and I plan to get The Girl Next Door (Unrated). And if they have anything else interesting, I might get that too. :)

I'll probably get the SW set sometime this week; it's just not a gotta-have-on-the-first-day thing for me. I did pick up the last Dark Tower book today, and am already a couple hundred pages in. I've tried to pace myself, but it's not happenin'! :D

Well I got the Star Wars set. It looks even more amazing in person then it does in pictures. :D I also got The Girl Next Door (Unrated) and 50 First Dates for my g/f for her b-day. Anyway, we're gonna go watch A New Hope now. :D

You know, I actually thought the Star Wars boxes were rather blah looking. Too much like my fullscreen video box set.

*waves to everyone since she hasn't posted in this thread in a while*

I doubt I'll get the SW set anytime soon. Got some other stuff to catch up on first.

Anyone who gets it though - tell me what you think of them. Has Lucas added even more stuff to the movies since the "Special Edition" re-releases?

*waves back* :) I have to say I love the look of the box set. IMO it looks absolutely amazing.

Well we only watched A New Hope last night, cos I was too tired to watch anything else (stupid jet lag, lol). Anyway, there are some new changes which IMO enhance the movie, at least compared to the '97 SE version. I don't wanna go into spoilers here, you've got a ton of threads about it in SF&F. But yeah, I enjoyed the film a lot and it looked great. The sound though wasn't as good as I hoped it would be. Oh well, the whole thing is still great. :D

Well, I think we are going to get the SW set when I get home from work tonight.

And kev...I'm not sure if you are a Replay member or not anymore, but I got a postcard that gives you 10,000 points when you buy it....

Good to see you Sakrysta!!! And I love the new avatar! Get that pic made at Dragon*Con???

^WOW, really?? I'm only a Replay member now cause they gave it to me for free :D, but I might have to look for that offer. It may make me get in there & buy it soon after all, which is what they want anyway.

Bah! Actually, I was wrong about this. I was informed last night when I went to pick up my set that "Showbiz bucks" are different from "Replay Points".

But I guess you can use the Showbiz bucks to get stuff on the 'net or something....

The Trilogy was on sale though...

And Sakrysta, those are *great* pictures.

Nathan is so incredibly hot! :D ;)

Well, I just got back from seeing Shaun of the Dead, and goddamn, I haven't laughed that hard during a movie in a long time! The mix of British humor, slapstick, impressive gore, and music was simply fantastic. And they even found the time to include a touching moment or two amid the chaos. Definitely one of my favorite movies of the year thusfar, and I'm gonna try and drag some family and friends to it sometime.
