Kill Bill Vol. 2 is coming out today. Poor, poor Punisher, the first one was horrible, this one is getting horrible reviews and it's going to get massacred by Kill Bill in it's opening weekend.

Hell, I went to see Ballistic: Ecks Vs. Sever just because I needed some explosions and fisticuffs (and I'm still recovering
) Punisher will get a share of the audience, but hopefully the movie-going public will choose the better revenge flick that's available to them.Posted by vermillion:
^^Luckily I don't have that problem both my boyfriend and I are huge Tarantino and Kill Bill fans.![]()

My problem is he hates Star Trek.

I convinced my g/f to come see volume 2 tonight, so we're gonna go with a couple of friends. We're gonna see it at 10.20, so I probably won't post my thoughts about it until tomorrow. There's a topic about volume 2 in Federation Embassy and if anyone wants to talk about the film (with spoilers) we should probably do it in there.
Anyway, today was a good day. A couple of classes got cancelled, so I went downtown early. I bought Stargate season 5 and 6, so I got them all now.
When I got home I decided I wanna watch Kill Bill vol 1 again, so I did. I pretty much never do this, I just can't watch the same movie within a couple of days. But Kill Bill is just so much fun, and I just really had to watch it again.
So yeah, I'm REALLY looking forward to volume 2.

A different tone from the first in some respects, but in others a perfect complement. I'm definitely waiting for the DVD where Tarrantino plans to put these together as one. It makes perfect sense as one film.

), so I really don't know what's new. I think I saw Master & Commander advertised in ads yesterday. I was surprised that movie wasn't out already.Posted by Steven:

And IMO it had one of the best end credits ever.
David Carradine kicked so much ass; it's hard to believe now that QT wanted to cast Warren Beatty first. One would have thought the "Kung Fu" background would have made Carradine a logical first choice, especially since Samuel L. Jackson referenced his character "Caine" in Pulp Fiction. Quentin does seem to like including things that tie his movies together.
