Courtesy the Doctor Who News Page, 2 Entertain has released a provisional roadmap as to how the final two-dozen Doctor Who DVD releases are expected to play out over the next couple of years. It had been announced previously that they plan to continue issuing DVDs until the 50th anniversary, and they've put out a list of the releases that are expected for 2012.
There remains a number of "unplaced" stories (ie ones we probably won't see till 2013). It's looking as if the final releases are likely to be Jon Pertwee stories. Interesting is the reference to the incomplete stories The Tenth Planet and The Ice Warriors as possible releases (another incomplete story, The Reign of Terror, has already been confirmed for release in 2012). No one knows if this means more animated reconstructions, or if they plan to do what they did with the VHS releases and have someone describe the missing episodes...
