Apparently we're going to get 2 trailers this weekend. http://www.denofgeek.com/tv/doctor-who/28116/bbc-confirms-two-doctor-who-trailers-this-weekend
I guess you could watch the clip. But the war was time locked. What happened was time locked. People shouldn't know what happened because it was time locked.
At least we know the scarf makes an actual appearance. Must be an honorary thing, whoever is the UNIT scientific adviser gets to wear it.
She looks more like a UNIT scientist thats fascinated with the doctor like Malcolm Scientist- I'm meeting the doctor today! I better wear the the scarf from when he was with UNIT in the 70's
Knowing Moffat, I won't be surprised if the scarf is one of many bits of Doctor-associated paraphernalia that have been seeded throughout the timeline Bad Wolf-style by some wibbly-wobbly phenomenon, perhaps the latest universe-ending, reality-unravelling cataclysm that happens to revolve entirely around the Doctor because he's the most important being in the universe. The teaser trailer with all the familiar people and things from the series' history intermixed with each other may be more than just a tribute to the past but a hint of the actual storyline of the special.
One of them was. The one in Castrovalva was the burgundy version. He's actually had several over the years... http://www.doctorwhoscarf.com/history.html Mark

Hmm, not the best trailer ever (a little too focused on explosions over any sense of real magic or wonder, and almost feels more like a typical season finale trailer), but the footage itself looks really good. And is it just me, or is it surprisingly weird to hear Tennant as the Doctor again?
So the one thing we learned from that is the reason why La Piper hadn't shown up in any photos until now.
The brief glimpse of Hurt's console was pretty cool as well. At least it looked like a different one from the others.
It does make me smile that the 50th Anniversary story is basically a sequel to 'The Parting Of The Ways' and 'The End Of Time'...
