I'm assuming this has to be some sort of family-style sitcom (Full House, Family matters, etc) since there really isn't a “home” in something like “Firefly.” I would have to say “Wonder Years.” I always loved that show and there was always something very real about it.
3.What's the longest you've gone without sleep?
Solid 48 hours over exam week once. I remember being in a daze while taking my Japanese exam (final exam of the semester at 7 in the morning) having seen the sunrise for the second day in a row without so much as a nap. I proceeded to my dorm and slept until late evening... took me awhile to get back on schedule after that.
