2.If you could live in any home on a television series, what would it be?

Well, in real life, I don’t really need anything but my simple, one-bedroom apartment... but since this is fantasy here, I’ll go with Mr. Burns’ Manor on The Simpsons.

3.What's the longest you've gone without sleep?

Procrastinator that I am, I kept putting off grading students’ papers when I was a T.A. until finally, the night before I had to submit them to the professor, I hunkered down in my office to finish them off. It took me all night (I didn’t rush through them, as I wanted to be fair and give each paper the grade it deserved), and I just barely got them done in time. After the papers were handed back to the students, you’d think I’d go home and sleep, but I couldn’t. There was a stage play I had to go to that night, and I really couldn’t skip that – I was performing in the lead role. To add to the fun, I had to engage in swordplay –with real rapiers—for one scene, and when you haven’t slept in nearly two days, that’s probably not the best thing to do. My energy level may have suffered a bit during that performance, but incredibly, I remembered all my lines, and the show went without much of a hitch.

4.What's your favorite Barry Manilow song?

Copacabana.

Gonzo, ‘cause he’s weird, and no one quite knows what he is... I can relate. :D

Went to Buffalo for the day with my parents and sister last month.

11.What's the best bargain you've ever found at a garage sale or thrift store?

I went to a thrift store to shop for my Rocky Horror transvestite costume, and I was able to find practically everything I needed –lingerie slip, fishnet stockings, a pair of high-heeled shows that actually fit me—for only a few bucks. The whole ensemble served me well for several years after that.

12.Where were you on September 11, 2001?

High school. They cancelled second period and called an emergency teachers meeting. From that, and some of the rumours that were already starting to go around, I figured something big had happened, so, since I had a couple of hours to kill, I went home and watched the news, where I learned all the horrific details.

13.What's your favorite tree?

Never thought about it really. I’ll say palm trees.

Chicken balls, garlic ribs, plain fried rice, pork, steamed broccoli, sweet and sour pork balls

16.What's the best costume you've ever worn?

Like Danoz, I also went out as Data one Halloween – in full white make-up and with a gold Starfleet uniform on. Also, when I was playing the Cowardly Lion in my high school play, we got to borrow the costumes from a local professional theatre company, and they were awesome (even if the shoes I had to wear were two sizes too small ).

The dictionary.

25.Have you ever been snorkeling? Scuba diving?

27.What's the sickest you've ever been?

28.What's your favorite form of exercise?

I’m a lazy bastard, and I really hate exercising, but I still do it out of necessity. I walk/jog, do sit-ups/crunches and push-ups, and sometimes lift weights in my building’s little gym.

29.What's your favorite Cyndi Lauper song?

I’ll go with “Time After Time” – I think it’s a lovely song. Of course, you gotta love “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun”, and I did karaoke “She Bop” once – I was incredibly drunk, and I thought it would be funny to sing a song about masturbation. Well, like I said, I was drunk. :shifty:

30.What did you do for your 13th birthday?

>Does some math and checks some dates< If I remember correctly... I believe I went to go see Mission: Impossible with some of my friends.

Eh... moderately. Not to the point where I’d call it a phobia, though.

34.What's your favorite Broadway musical?

Tough choice, but I’ll say Guys and Dolls.

35.What's the most memorable class you've ever taken?

Hmm... also a tough choice. I’ll go with a post-modern acting class I took a few years ago. Basically, we had to create several performances that didn’t even have to make much linear sense, and as such, we had few restrictions in the ways we could express ourselves creatively. A great way to exercise the imagination.

36.What's your favorite knock-knock joke?

I enjoy a good soak in the tub, actually, but I usually shower, as it’s quicker and easier.

40.Does your chewing gum lose its flavor on the bedpost overnight?

Fibre-plus Eggo waffles.

42.Who's your favorite game show host?

Alex Trebek. Gotta give a shout out to my Canadian home-boy.

43.If you could have a super power, what would it be?

If the scenario were like Heroes, where lots of people have powers, then I’d want Peter Petrelli’s power (before he got nerfed) so that I could absorb everyone else’s and ultimately become a multi-powered superhero. I’d be unstoppable. In a non-Heroes setting, I’d probably like psychic powers that would allow me to read and control minds.

No.

20.Describe something that's happened to you for which you have no explanation.

Back when I was around 9 or 10 I had a favourite cap I got from Sea World and the brim had split at one side from the hood. I was in Fiji with my dad and bro and we're at a resort and before we go to dinner I put my hat in the room safe just so there is something in the room safe. At some point at dinner my dad claims that he'll use his magic to fix my cap. My dad was fond of claiming he had magic powers when my bro and I were young. I didn't believe him so after dinner we go back to the room I open the safe and my cap is repaired. It's not a new cap as you can see the stitching to fix one corner. I could not explain how that happened.

Since then the only explanation I have is that it was already fixed before I put it in the safe and that I just didn't notice because I was use to it been broken. My dad never told me how he did it, he still claimed he used magic and now he's passed away I'll never know. I actually told that story during my eulogy at his funeral.

I turned, looked up at the sky and saw a white disk moving through the sky. I thought something like, "gee the sun looks wierd today." And then i saw the white disk fly past the glowing orange sun. I turned my head back and everyone was gone. No one in the lot. No cars moving. No sound. It was even less bright out. I ran inside and found Patrick covered in sweat. he said he had been looking all over for me. We went to the risers and the class's set was almost over. The teacher yelled at me, and then I got in place and sang the last song. Apparently, I had been "missing" for twenty minutes or more.

I Write the Songs. I admire the sheer arrogance of singing "I write the songs that make the whole world sing."

Yes, I know the "I" in the song represents music, and that it was written and performed by other artists, but I'm convinced Manilow was singing about himself, and I'm sticking to that theory.

I assume we're talking about temporary viral or bacterial infections rather than a disorder, disease, or injury, right?

The longest I've been sick was from late November of last year until early February of this year with pneumonia (came back more than once) and possibly bronchitis afterward. I had to be hospitalized briefly, and they didn't get back to me with the results of my chest x-rays for two weeks because of a technical SNAFU, so I started late on antibiotics, and then had to get more powerful antibiotics when those didn't work. I was in a bad way for three solid months though.

I used to get really bad strep throat as a kid and had to be hospitalized more than once. One time I nearly died from taking penicillin to treat it, and finding out I was severely allergic to it.

We had porn actors, a dominatrix and submissive, a prostitute, rape and molestation victims, a sex addict, a man with AIDS, an OB/GYN, etc. come speak to us. There were naked people in the class sometimes, they showed hardcore porn, did demonstrations with dildos and other sex toys, and showed pretty much everything that was legal (and even some stuff that isn't like beastiliaty which made you want to puke). Their basic goal was to make it so you could open up about pretty much anything and not be embarassed, and in that they were successful.
