@Jedman67: I understand that, the color pallet Rusty chose for the Galaxy is certainly not for everyone.
I do like the opportunity of working in unusual sets though; and this one, with its unique lighting, certainly applies.
I've reworked the ceiling structure to be more fitting of a 24th Century ship, so the Brattain style centerpiece was removed, and Sutherland style ribs were added to the blue ceiling lights.
The buttresses near the doors and viewscreen were likewise changed to make the set a bit more unique, these new versions are based on the season 1 battle bridge columns, and keep the darker motif seen in several TNG sets (like the aforementioned battle bridge, Enterprise-C and Relay 47)
Finally, the lights at floor level all around the perimeter were somewhat changed, with a unique design that places the three horizontal lines closer together, similar to the lights we see all over the Enterprise-D. Just as those on TNG, these new lines are now made from a reflective material rather than the rough black used for the TOS movies.
