According to IMDB he's not credited for this season. Doesn't mean much, though, Stephen Root wasn't either until a couple episodes into his stint, so...

Hey, it's Mr. Dominic from Dollhouse as Logan's aide/likely mole. Maybe that's why he wasn't in the finale.

It depends, when would this episode have been filmed? The finale for Dollhouse was filmed was filmed in December 2009. Not disagreeing with you here, I'm just curious. Is kind of lame he didn't show up for the episode when there was an obvious set up for him to. Bah.

Another problem with this death is it was a worthless death. Renee was killed off for absolutely no reason whatsover. You could have still had Revenge Jack if she had been seriously wounded.

I wouldn't go that far. Jack's level of rage wouldn't be close to this level, and I'm not sure it'd be as entertaining. Still, his use of "Justice" as opposed to "revenge" in the trailer will make it interesting to see how they're differentiation.
