Okay, I somehow missed the part in Redemption about Taylor's son.So he was murdered, huh.
We met him in Redemption. He must've died between the movie and this season.
We didn't see the murder itself, but we did see the men who broke into Roger's place, as they were clearing his computer of the information he'd found. The clear implication is that they were the ones who'd killed him. I think we saw him zipped into bodybag.

We saw his friend zipped into a body bag, but John Voight's character eyed Roger (I assume that's the name of Taylor's son) and told one of his underlings that he should take care of him, in case he saw something (as far as we know, he didn't).
