While going to see the movie for a cameo is dubious, it was a good scene.
It was intermittently funny and entertaining (Nick Offerman's cameo was hilarious, so was the scene with Depp and DeLuise), but rarely memorable. Twelve hours after seeing the movie most I can't recall much of it, which isn't a great sign of longevity. Still, it's doing well at the box office, so there will inevitably be a sequel.
However the Depp and DeLuise cameo, not the Robinson-Peete one, was like the icing on the cake. However that crazy reviewer probably thinks it breaks Jump Street canon as established in their series finale.
I enjoyed the movie. Those of you who have described Nick Offerman's appearance in the film as a "cameo" really need to consult a dictionary.
Relatively unknown actor playing a small part in a film =/ a cameo.
